ScottishPower is one of the UK's largest energy companies, with over 5.5m gas and electricity customers while its sister company - ScottishPower Renewables - is the UK's largest developer of onshore wind, which includes Whitelee, Europe's largest onshore windfarm just south of Glasgow. ScottishPower Renewables is also developing a number of large scale projects in offshore wind, wave and tidal renewables.
