Tim Hurst
Tim joined SEGEC in April 2010. Tim has over 20 years experience of Project Management and Operations Management in engineering and logistics environments, and has spent the last 3 years as a Senior Project Manager in the renewable energy sector, working on projects such as the EMEC wave and tidal test sites and the Isle of Eigg Electrification programme.
Tim recently completed an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University Department of Electrical Engineering, specialising in wave and tidal technology and the integration of renewable generation.
As Thematic Manager for Marine Renewables at SEGEC, Tim will focus on connecting EU funding with wave, tidal and offshore wind projects within Scottish waters in order to accelerate deployment of these technologies.
