Fostering Good Practice
Fostering good practice in the development and deployment of green energy is also a key element in wider strategies to encourage the growth of the sector in Scotland.
While the nation has good expertise and an enviable record in green energy research and development, this has not yet translated into substantial new activity, in terms of either the:
- adoption and application of research outcomes at home; or
- commercial exploitation of these technologies in global markets.
