Supporting Sustainable Economic Growth
Increasing sustainable economic growth is the overarching aim of the Scottish Government, but is to be achieved within the context of reducing emissions and increasing the share of energy derived from renewable and more efficient sources.
SEGEC will be expected to contribute to both, acting as a catalyst for new technological developments and applications which reduce dependence on, and usage of, fossil fuels.
